Eric Stenstrom
Founder & President

​Eric Stenstrom is a technology leader who has spent over 30 years helping drive digital transformation with leading architecture, engineering, or construction (AEC) firms. Throughout his career, Eric has been an early adopter and champion of multiple technologies that have transformed the AEC Industry such as: 3D modeling, BIM, tablet PC’s, storage solutions, mobile devices, cloud computing, disaster recovery, best in class security, customized client dashboards, data integrations and custom CMMS systems to improve field operations.

These efforts have been consistently recognized for their innovative approaches, establishing industry standards and he is frequently invited to share these results with the technology community.

The AEC industry is a unique industry, with scheduling demands, budget constraints, geographically dispersed teams with remote challenges, field limitations, complicated partner file sharing processes and growing cybersecurity requirements. Throw in an explosion of new digital tools for the built world that promise to make “everything easier” but often introduce their own complexity.

With a degree in Industrial Design from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, certified in AGILE and ITIL, Eric combines these methodologies and frameworks to define the issue, identify the problem and create a collaborative approach with stakeholders to ensure the people, the process and the technology provides value.

A technology leader who understands today’s business challenges and the demands of clients ranging from the Fortune 500, government agencies, municipalities, telecom and utilities. Eric has directly provided technology consulting solutions with these leading firms for: ABN-AMRO, Blue Cross Blue Shield, BP, Chicago Board of Trade, Citibank, ComEd, Cushman & Wakefield, Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT), National Park Service, People’s Gas, Septa, Walmart and Verizon.

Eric is skeptical of “shiny toys” but occasionally will be seen at a ballgame enjoying a cold one.
